Sam is not a Politician - He just wanted to make our city better for the entire town and his two young kids.

• Sam has a full time employment with one of the best companies in the world. Sam would decline to take any medical, retirement compensation and would like to donate all compensation back to the kids of Duarte by establishing a scholarship fund. He will donate the scholarship every year to exceptional kids. He encourages kids to do better in school.
  
• Sam will be accountable and responsible for his actions.
  
• Sam will not take other people's ideas and claim that they are his. Sam will give credits when they are due NOT take it from others! The city needs to have leadership and lead by example!
  
• Sam will provide  monthly status reports on his website and he is going to be an open book on all his city projects. (To learn more about his vision, please view the vision/mission link.) 
  
• Sam will ask all the hard questions and choosing the right projects (with Duarte Citizens) to accommodate what's best for the citizens. There will be NO backroom deals! We must promote transparency. 
  
• Sam has an open door policy. Give him a call and he will listen to your concerns and address them accordingly. If you want to have lunch or dinner with him, he will make every effort to be there.
  
• Sam is only going to be a 1 Term to 2 Terms Council-member if elected. This is democracy, NOT autocratic, dictatorship or a totalitarian state. Can you imagine having a President for 20 years?? Then why at your own backyard?  
  
• Sam will implement a 2 Term limit once he gets elected. The current unlimited term limit is causing status quo at our local government thus not providing the city new ideas and energy. If you can't make anything better in 8 years, let's give someone else a try. 
• This is not about friendship, we are all friends, but being a leader is about having quality education, experience, vision, leadership, performance and able to innovate. We need to continue to move forward. You and Sam both want this company called City of Duarte to gain value NOT more dilapidation, because Monrovia, South Pasadena, Monterey Park, Alhambra, Azusa and EVEN Eagle Rock now ROCKS and moving forward except us. Then why are you voting for the same under performing Board of Directors? Sam promises to bring us upward. Enough of these smoke shops and Massage Parlors. It makes our city look cheap!
• Be critical and find the facts to all candidates NOT allegations! (No hear say!). Do you want your values to go up, education to go up and be proud of living in Duarte? Board of Directors are ultimately accountable for the entire city. Be analytically and critical when voting. Sam will be accountable for his own actions and will be serving ONLY the citizens of Duarte.
